El Camino Real Paddling Trail
The El Camino Real paddling trail is a great introductory experience to kayaking or canoeing on slow-moving water. The check-in process is quick and easy. You launch right from our location inside Fisherman’s Park and spend two to four hours on the water until you arrive at your exit, the Colorado River Refuge.
Half-day: 2 to 4 hours
Put in: Bastrop River Co./Fisherman’s Park
Total river miles: 6

Overnight Camping Trip
Wilbarger Overnight Camping
This trip begins with a 20-minute shuttle ride up to the put in and ends right back in Bastrop at our location. This is a great introductory canoe camping trip. The total trip is 14 miles broken up as 8 miles on day one and 6 miles on day two. Depending on group size, shuttle arrangements may vary. But we’ll work all that out in advance.

Garfield Overnight Camping
This is the perfect trip for groups looking for an extended 2-night canoe camping adventure. The total trip is 30 miles broken up as 10 miles on day one, 14 on day two, and 6 on day three. Depending on group size, shuttle arrangements may vary. Shuttle logistics will be worked out at the time of booking.

Popular for groups who like to cover more miles and spend more time on the river. Private riverside camping option available for night before arrivals. Optional camping areas at miles 12 & 17.
